Meddem Hospital was established in 1997 in Bahçelievler District under the name of Yedi Şehitler Şifa Polyclinic. Initially, basic health and nursing services were provided by our staff consisting of 3 general practitioners, 1 dentist and a few health workers. In the past process, the love and trust of the people has been won. However, located far from city center limited the scope of service.
For this reason, Çarşı Şifa Polyclinic, which was put into service in 1999, has expanded our service scope and the range of services since it is in the city center. In our Çarşı Polyclinic, daily observation and laboratory examinations of the patients were carried out together with our part-time and full-time specialist physicians.
With the support we receive from our patients and the trust we have in our team, Private Şifa Medical Center was opened in 2004. Operations in surgical branches were started. With the support of our inpatient treatment, laboratory and imaging services, our specialist physicians have started served in many branches, and the average number of personnel had reached 75.
Our health institution, which has gained with the support and trust of people since been established, gone through new capacity investments and started to serve as Private Şifa Hospital in 2008. With the ease of registered 3rd stage intensive care units, well-equipped patient and operating rooms, our scope of service has expanded and in started serving patients not only locally but also regionally.
As the largest private healthcare institution in the region chasing excellent service and patient satisfaction, we started to serve in a brand-new building under the name of Meddem Hospital in December 2016. In addition to the technological infrastructure health services prepared in our new building, arrangements have been made in the areas where patients, companions and visitors can have a comfortable time, waiting areas, convenient parking services, food and beverage services.
In our hospital;
- There are 8 Associate Professors,1 Professor, 25 Specialist Physicians and 7 Practitioners.

- Surgical Intensive Care: 12-Bed ICU Stage 3 Registered
- Internal Intensive Care: 32 Beds ICU Stage 3 Registered
- Cardiovascular Intensive Care: 5 Beds ICU Stage 3 Registered
- Coronary Intensive Care: 8-Bed ICU Stage 2 Registered
- Neonatal Intensive Care: 22 Beds ICU Stage 3 Registered
- We continue to serve as 25 registered service beds.
